So Much Awaits in El Paso for the SATW 2019 Annual Convention

SATW is excited to head to El Paso, Texas for its Annual Convention taking place October 20-24, 2019. El Paso is a city with more than 400-years of history, some of the most unique arts and food creations in the United States and the city averages more than 300 days of sunshine in a year. What’s not to love?

Historians will appreciate El Paso’s range of museums. They include the only border patrol museum in the country, an archaeology museum, one of only several Holocaust museums in the United States and the largest art museum located on the U.S./Mexico border. The city is also home to some of the oldest working missions in the region with a popular Historic Mission Trail that takes you on a tour of some of El Paso’s rich history.

With so many sunny days in El Paso, visitors can explore nearly every type of outdoor activity from hiking in the Guadalupe National Park to exploring caves to rock climbing and birding.

It is impossible to go to El Paso and not enjoy a unique experience while enjoying the local food scene. The experiences designed at local restaurants go beyond just having a great meal. Take a seat on the windmill patio at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing while dining on the seasonal flavors of the region.
