Keynote:  Brooke Baldwin

Brooke Baldwin is a Peabody Award finalist who anchors the 2-4 pm ET edition of CNN Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin. She is also the creator and host of CNN’s Digital series “American Woman” which focuses on the stories of trailblazing women who have broken barriers in their respective fields and are now helping other women do the same. For her work on that series, she earned a Gold Telly Award.

In addition to hosting two hours live in the studio every day, she is often sent into the field to the biggest breaking stories in the US and around the world including Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

In 2018, she crisscrossed the country interviewing various trailblazing women running for office in what would become a record-setting election for women in Congress. She traveled to South Korea and the DMZ to report on the challenges facing our US military and their family given the nuclear threat. She’s been to the Persian Gulf for an exclusive embed opportunity with the US Navy, reporting on the War on Terror. One of her favorite stories was traveling to Kenya ahead of President Obama’s historic visit and landing an exclusive interview with his half-sister and grandmother in the Obama family ancestral village.

When Brooke isn’t covering the news… she’s planning her next adventure. She recently rang in her 40th birthday in Uganda crossing off a bucket list trip of gorilla trekking. She has summited Kilimanjaro, gone hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro and has a Chilean Patagonia trip on the horizon this Christmas. She looks forward to hearing about our travels, and you can follow her on Instagram: @BrookeBCNN.
