Those interested in Pre/Post tours will be notified of their assignment during the week of July 13. Payment for Pre/Post tours will be due by July 31. If payment is not received, you will be put on the waitlist. Attendees will be notified of their day tour (AM/PM/Full) during the week of August 17. Requests to switch or trade tours after assignments are made will not be considered until October 11 when the convention has started. Staff and Chairs will not be able to assist with any switches or trades until October 11. All switches and trades must be made on-site in Milwaukee during the convention.

From the earliest indigenous people to 21st century innovators, we will see how Madison’s relationship to the outdoors has informed people from Frank Lloyd Wright to today’s artisanal makers. Eau Claire’s Artistic Revolution
Eau Claire, Wisconsin, could probably lay claim to being “The Indie Capital of the Midwest,” but trademarking that would be far too corporate a move for this independent-minded university town. Instead, Eau Claire, located at the confluence of the crystal clear Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers, goes its own way and encourages everyone who visits to come along for the ride. This is where farm kids grow up to be artists and entrepreneurs (Shout out to Bon Iver frontman, Justin Vernon). Where attitude is more important than age. Where hospitality is legit. Homegrown Heritage: The Frank Lloyd Wright Trail
Nowhere in the world does the genius of Frank Lloyd Wright echo more resonantly than among the rolling hills of southwestern Wisconsin. Here, in the sweep of the Wyoming Valley first settled by his immigrant Welsh parents, Wright built Taliesin, his renowned estate and studio that is now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. He is a true Wisconsin native – who created and built much of his finest work in the state.
Opened in 2017, Wisconsin’s Frank Lloyd Wright Trail takes travelers on a 250-mile, self-guided tour featuring the architecture of Wisconsin-native Frank Lloyd Wright. The trail includes nine buildings spread across nine counties and highlights the breadth of Wright’s work, from private homes and public office buildings to a warehouse and place of worship.
